Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that temperature maps show that minimum temperatures, recorded minutes after sunrise, are expected to drop in the coming days. Consequently, the weather will be cool to relatively cold across various regions of the Kingdom during the night and early morning hours, particularly over the high mountain peaks, particularly the southern ones, in addition to the eastern plains.
The latest numerical model outputs indicate that minimum temperatures will drop to between 14 and 17 degrees Celsius over the high mountain peaks and plain areas, while minimum temperatures will be less than 14 degrees Celsius over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains, amid relatively cool but refreshing weather.
The weather then (i.e. after midnight and early morning) becomes unsuitable for outdoor seating due to the combination of cool conditions and high relative humidity, as well as occasional active northwesterly winds. Therefore, Arab Weather recommends wearing a light coat to accommodate the relatively cool weather during the dawn and early morning hours in the high mountainous areas and eastern plains.
As nighttime temperatures drop in the coming nights, temperature differences between day and night are expected to become significant, with temperature differences ranging from 8-10 degrees Celsius.
Therefore, the Arab Weather website warns of temperature differences and relatively cold weather during the night hours, which contributes to an increased risk of colds and seasonal illnesses, especially among children.
Humidity levels will rise significantly in the coming nights, exceeding 90 percent in some areas. Fog will form in the high mountains and some areas of the eastern plains at dawn and early morning, reducing horizontal visibility.
And God knows best.
